Privacy policy

Effective date: 14 October 2026

This policy covers the KonPDF website at konpdf.notwork.world, made by Gaurav Tiwari at NotWork.world (github.com/NotWork-world). The KonPDF Android app has its own policy: app privacy policy.

In short: no account, no sign-in, your files are used only to do what you asked and are deleted after 30 minutes, and the website shows ads from Google, which use cookies.

Files you upload

Converting, resizing, enhancing and the PDF tools are done by the KonPDF converter, a server we run on Render (Singapore). When you use a tool:

  • The files you chose are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), processed, and the results are offered to you for download.
  • Uploaded files and results are kept in a private folder with a random name and deleted automatically after 30 minutes, or straight away when you click “Delete from the converter now”.
  • File contents are never logged, never looked at by people, never shared or sold, and never used to train anything.
  • Passwords you give for locking or unlocking a PDF are used for that one job only and are never stored.

NW, the assistant

NW sees only the names, types and sizes of the files you attach, never what is inside them. What you type to NW is used only to answer you and is not kept after the answer.

Ads and cookies

The website shows ads from Google AdSense to pay for running it.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website and to other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
  • You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, or turn off many third-party vendors’ cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link Google shows on the page.

The KonPDF website itself sets no cookies of its own and keeps no profile of you.

Technical logs

Like most websites, the services that deliver this website and run the converter (Cloudflare and Render) keep short technical logs, such as IP address, time and the address requested, to keep the service secure and working, for example to stop abuse. They never include the contents of your files.

What we don't do

  • No accounts and no sign-in on the website.
  • No selling or renting of your information.
  • No reading, sharing or keeping of your files beyond the 30 minutes needed to give you the results.

Children

KonPDF is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices and rights

Because the website has no accounts and deletes files after 30 minutes, we hold nothing that identifies you. You can manage ad personalisation with the links above, and clear cookies in your browser at any time. For any privacy question or request, contact us below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Its full history is in the project's repository.
